Founded in 1842 by Herbert Ingram. Published in London, the magazine was influential for over 150 years, documenting British and world events with high-quality engravings, and later, photographs. It ceased regular publication in 2003. The Crystal Star by Dorothy Macardle on page 26.  

Magazine in good condition.  Rubbed to spine, bumped ends, torn to base.  Holes where staples are.  Corners bumped, creased to base.  Text firm and clean.
