Author Aldous Huxley noted that Middleton’s best poetry expressed a "passionate paganism" filled with images of wine, sunlight, and a dedication to the senses.  A posthumous collection of poetry by the English writer Richard Barham Middleton, published by T Fisher Unwin in 1912. Middleton tragically took his own life in December 1911 at the age of 29, having never published a standalone book during his lifetime.  Fourth edition.
