Signed and inscribed by Dennis Wheatley to his good friend, Thomas Joy. Thomas Joy was an exceptionally influential figure in the book trade who was responsible for running book departments of Harrods, the Army and Navy stores and was managing director of Hatchards.

Condition: Good. Dust jacket with few signs of wear and short tear to top of spine. Illustrated boards with bump to bottom of spine and lightly rubbed on rear of cover. End papers illustrated with maps with faint foxing. Signed and inscribed on title page. Foxing to page edges.
