Pocket size, original leather, hardback book in fine condition.  Frontispiece is David Gwynn's Story - the Welsh seaman, now an elderly man, whose story of his exploits as a galley-slave in crippling the Armada before it reached the Channel...David Gwynn was Raleigh's guest at the Mermaid Tavern.  Shakspeare, as spelt in book, who has quitted London for good gets a mention.  A interesting book.

Condition:  Worn to outer boards and faded.  Age darkened endpapers and pencil notations.  Text firm and clean.
