The Strand Magazine was a highly influential British monthly periodical published from 1891 to 1950, most famous for launching the widespread popularity of Arthur Conan Doyle's Sherlock Holmes. It was revived in 1998 as a quarterly mystery magazine based in the United States.  Ronald Searle Illustrations on page 66 for fiction by Lionel Hale.

Magazine in good condition.  Rubbed spine and bumped ends, staples rusted.  Corners bumped.  Stains to rear cover.  Foxing to page edges.  Creased base corners to rear of the magazine.  Text firm and clean.
