The Strand Magazine was a highly influential British monthly periodical published from 1891 to 1950, most famous for launching the widespread popularity of Arthur Conan Doyle's Sherlock Holmes. It was revived in 1998 as a quarterly mystery magazine based in the United States.  Ronald Searle Illustrations on page 78 for the short story by John Davies.

Magazine in good condition.  Rubbed spine and bumped ends, staples rusted.  Corners bumped.  Name in pencil to rear cover.  Tanning to page edges. Text firm and clean.
