Signed and inscribed by Dennis Wheatley to his good friend, Thomas Joy. Thomas Joy was an exceptionally influential figure in the book trade who was responsible for running book departments of Harrods, the Army and Navy stores and was managing director of Hatchards.
No date but according to the blurb at the back possibly 1948.
Dust Jacket in good condition, rubbed on edges and some tears along edges and spine rubbing on reverse spine faded. Black Hard back boards, gold Hutchinson on front lower right and down spine, slightly bumped and faded on edges. top edge dusty and foxing on all page edges and end papers plus. Clean and tight within the book.
