Co-founded in 1968 by Anthony Slide and Paul O’Dell. It was the only serious quarterly journal at the time dedicated exclusively to the art and history of silent film. The magazine published 19 issues before ceasing publication in 1974. Issues featured in-depth interviews, biographical studies, and rare photographs of silent-era performers and directors, such as Mary Brian and William Bakewell. Harold Lloyd talks to Anthony Slide.
