H M Bateman - The Boy Who Breathed On The Glass In The British Museum, H Pordes, 1971
The "Crime": The boy looks at an exhibit, likely a mummy, and breathes on the glass display case. The Punishment: A guard spots the boy and has him arrested. He is then subjected to a formal trial and sentenced to a long period of hard labour in prison. The Return: After his release decades later, the boy returns to the museum as an old man. The Final Act: Standing before the same display case, the man breathes on the glass one last time and immediately drops dead. A Criticism of Life. Wordless comic strip.
