Edited and with an introduction by R P Lister.  Limited to 400 copies.  This is copy number 176 and signed by author.  The book captures intimate letters between Enid Bagnold and Frank Harris, who was both her editor and lover during her early writing career.  The letters and diary entries provide a first-hand perspective on her life and social circle during WWI.  Beyond Harris, the collection includes exchanges with prominent figures such as H G Wells,  Walter Sickert, Antoine Bibesco, and Claud Lovat Fraser.

Patterned cloth with slipcase in fine condition.  Bumped base spine end.  Text firm and clean.  Brown slipcase with bumps on edges and ends.
