Signed and inscribed by Dennis Wheatley to his good friend, Thomas Joy. Thomas Joy was an exceptionally influential figure in the book trade who was responsible for running book departments of Harrods, the Army and Navy stores and was managing director of Hatchards. 

Hardback. Red and blue speckled cloth with gold lettering to spine and black illustration to front cover. 511 numbered pages. 665g. 

Condition: Good. Dust jacket slightly creased on spine and rear of cover. Boards indented on spine, else good condition. End papers illustrated with maps, rear end paper browned slightly with pencil notation. Signed and inscribed on title page. Page edges with foxing.
