Signed and inscribed by Dennis Wheatley to his good friend, Thomas Joy. Thomas Joy was an exceptionally influential figure in the book trade who was responsible for running book departments of Harrods, the Army and Navy stores and was managing director of Hatchards.

Hardback. Black boards with gold lettering to spine. Illustrated dust jacket included. 483 numbered pages. 564g.  

Condition: Good. Dust jacket with minimal wear along edges and spine, tear on bottom of spine and rear flap. Boards very lightly rubbed. End papers illustrated with map of Europe, browned. Signed and inscribed on title page. Foxing to page edges and some pages throughout book.
