Signed and inscribed by Dennis Wheatley to his good friend, Thomas Joy. Thomas Joy was an exceptionally influential figure in the book trade who was responsible for running book departments of Harrods, the Army and Navy stores and was managing director of Hatchards.

Hardback. Red and blue speckled cloth with gold lettering to spine. Illustrated dust jacket included. 445 numbered pages. 516g.

Condition: Good. Dust jacket with minimal wear, slight rubbing to rear of cover and slight curl to top edge. Boards bright and clean, only very slightly bruised spine edges. Front end paper illustrated with map. Rear end paper with few foxing markings around edges. Signed and inscribed on title page. Foxing to page edges.
