Signed and inscribed by Dennis Wheatley to his good friend, Thomas Joy. Thomas Joy was an exceptionally influential figure in the book trade who was responsible for running book departments of Harrods, the Army and Navy stores and was managing director of Hatchards.

Condition: Good. Dust jacket with wear and tear along edges and top edge curled. Boards rubbed and slightly bruised on spine edges. End papers with map of Paris during the French Revolution. Signed and inscribed on title page. Foxing to page edges.
