Original cloth faded gilt, and all edges gilt in good condition. Faded boards. Bumped corners and spine edges. Text is firm. Light stains to some leaves. I believe these books to be First editions because page 317 has the spelling mistake calling Violet, Miss Violent Hunter. Page 133 should have the word cocaine but reads cucaine. Patterned endpapers and black & white illustrations. In the Adventures book there are 2 small teas in outer margin to page 163. Pencil mark on endpaper in The Memoirs. Two good copies.
