Signed and inscribed by Dennis Wheatley to his good friend, Thomas Joy. Thomas Joy was an exceptionally influential figure in the book trade who was responsible for running book departments of Harrods, the Army and Navy stores and was managing director of Hatchards.

Hardback. Red and blue speckled-effect cloth with gold lettering to spine. Illustrated dust jacket included. 221 numbered pages. 374g.

Condition: Good. Dust jacket, bright and clean with only short tear so spine edge and minimal wear. Boards with very minimal wear, shown through discolouration of spine edges, else very good condition. End papers illustrated with map of Hong Kong and Japan, bright but with slight foxing to leaves. Signed and inscribed on title page. Foxing to page edges.
