Thomas Joy was an exceptionally influential figure in the book trade who was responsible for running book departments of Harrods, the Army and Navy stores and was managing director of Hatchards.

Hardback. Black cloth with gold lettering to spine. Illustrated dust jacket included. 320 pages. 385g.

Condition: Good. Dust jacket with short tear to top of spine and signs of wear along edges. Boards lightly rubbed in places, with slight forward lean and small bumps to bottom corner and spine edges. End papers with slight foxing and top page edge heavily foxed.
