(20 Bedford Street was Heinemann's office, where Stoker went on 1st September to write several notes to friends and reviewers - all inserted into the copies sent out by Heinemann during the following week for review).

BINDING: Dark red cloth, lettered on spine and front cover in gilt; publisher's colophon (windmill) blindstamped centre of back cover.

Condition: Very Good - Bruise to front top right corner. Slight cloth wear on all corners. Spine faded. Bright copy overall. Mark top right about an inch down on the cloth. Dent and slight tear to centre of the spine. Cloth slightly work in one place top left o the back cloth. Very minor foxing to page edges and page yellowing. Page 135 must have been folded at one point leaving a crease vertically. Page 125 tear top right. Minor crease from page 131-146 bottom. Binding pulling away bottom right between endpaper and back page.
