Price $2. The copyright notice on the verso of title-page has the date of publication as 'November 1910', although the American Catalogue of Books gives the exact (official?) date of this edition as 31 December 1910.
The American edition is virtually identical in format to the British edition with the following minor exceptions: there is no tissue guard on the frontis-piece; the bright rust cloth has plain gilt titling on the spine and front cover, with no single rule gilt border on the front cover; and the top edge is plain, not gilt. The beige dustjacket (not included with this Copy) carries a description of the book on the front, and details of The Court Series of French Memoirs (10 volumes) on the rear. The front flap carries an advertisement for The Fulfillment by Alice P. Raphael, and the rear flap carries an advertisement for Doctor Rast by James Oppenheim.
Condition: Good. Cloth faded in places with few small tears across cover and spine. Spine edges bumped. Slight hinge crack. Pencil notation on front and rear end papers. Top page edges gilt and bottom page edges rough-trimmed.
