DRACULA: 1st Paperback Edition

Westminster, Archibald Constable and Company, 1901. pp.138; 21 1/2 cm. x 14 1/2 cm. Pictorial thin card wrappers, with an illustration by Nathan of the count scaling the castle wall whilst being observed by the horrified Harker. This edition was skilfully revised and abridged by Stoker himself.

Condition: Near good - Paper wrappers extremely browned, spine damaged and peeling and some missing. Large crease on front and back wrappers. Browning throughout. Unknown pen signature in blue ink on front cover. Back cover creased with two tears, and top left corner missing, title page coming away from binding. Ceasing of numerous pages, tears to back pages at the bottom and page 137 middle left tear.
