Signed and inscribed by Dennis Wheatley to his good friend, Thomas Joy. Thomas Joy was an exceptionally influential figure in the book trade who was responsible for running book departments of Harrods, the Army and Navy stores and was managing director of Hatchards.

Hardback. Red and blue speckled-effect cloth with gold lettering to spine. Illustrated dust jacket included. 415 pages. 493g. 

Condition: V. Good. Bright and crisp dust jacket with minimal wear and short crease at bottom of spine. Boards bright and clean, very small bump to bottom edge of spine. End papers with map of Belgium, front end paper bright and clean, rear end paper with brown line down centre. Signed and inscribed on title page. Foxing to page edges. Internally, pages clean and unmarked.
