Signed and inscribed by Dennis Wheatley to his good friend, Thomas Joy. Thomas Joy was an exceptionally influential figure in the book trade who was responsible for running book departments of Harrods, the Army and Navy stores and was managing director of Hatchards.

Hardback. Black cloth with gold lettering to spine. Illustrated dust jacket included. 383 numbered pages. 460g. 

Condition: Good. Dust jacket with short tears on spine and few signs of wear along edges. Boards with slight forward lean and lightly bumped on corner, slight fading to spine edges. End papers illustrated with maps, rear end paper with faint brown stain along centre. Signed and inscribed on title page. Foxing to page edges.
