Hardcover in poor condition. Damage on fore edge of rear board and some leaves in margin. Gilt to front board and spine. Worn spine ends. Gilt top page edges. Bumped and worn corners. Foxing to some leaves through book. Text firm and clean. Tanning to endpapers, mark on front endpaper. Missing front endpaper.
According to Richard Dalby's notes - book about 1900's given by Grandmother to child 1942. Inscription on leaf. The plates, all complete, had been taken out by the child? They have been put back in their correct place and all have pencil marks on the back corresponding to the list of plates.
